We are all made to see the world through different eyes and in different ways. Interpreting things through writing filled with analogies and metaphors; through artistic drawing, painting and sculpture. Seeing through eyes of photography, song and simply critical thinking.
We have been allowed the desire and the will to fight a never-ending battle with courage based on how we interpret the world.
We have been taught over and over again that unless we conquer our insecurities first, they will conquer us. Even though it might not be our first thought, this, somehow and someway is our fight to win.
But, tug-of-war doesn't work with only one team, nor do you get stronger by being pulled by the other team. You have to pull, and pull through. And reality hits like an invasion to our pretty, little, content selves.
We are told to hope, like how fairytales exsist without flaw. But then we are promised that all fairytales will end happily ever after...life may never know a happy ending like that, like the big picture, given to us in a beautiful glass frame, but when it somehow cracks, our picture-perfect memories are scattered all around the floor and we become vulnerable to anything anyone wants us to say or become. It's like when I made the basketball team. Anyone could have told me absolutely anything about the game and probably would have believed them, because everything was unknown to me.
You define yourself be who you are.
